El Paso Times report on the Cordova Gardens Homeowners Association, which was an advocacy group for Cordova Gardens residents. Cordova Gardens was one of several South El Paso neighborhoods condemned by the Chamizal Treaty, which ceded 437-acres of South El Paso to Cd. Juarez. The Cordova Gardens Homeowners Associated traveled to Washington D.C. to present the cases of their residents. Association President was Oscar B. White. Founding members included Agustina and Valetin Hernandez.
